Sources inform us that Annapurna Studios in-house composer Anup Rubens would be performing for a good number of songs at the event.
“He and his team comprising of Chinmayi, Dhanunjay and Sameera Bharadwaj would be crooning for hit numbers of ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya, which are Akhil’s favourites. Anup, especially, will be performing for hit tracks such as ‘Chinni Chinni Aasalu’ and ‘Kanulanu Thaake’ from ‘Manam’,” the source shares.
He adds, “Akhil loves Hindi songs too and Ankit Tiwari, the ‘Aashiqui’ 2 sensation, has been roped in for the purpose. He would be singing some of his recent smash hits. Though the event will be high on instrumental music, the singers are looking forward to set the stage on fire with Akkineni chartbusters.”
