Heebah happy with the roles she’s getting

It’s been just two years since Heebah Patel debuted in Tollywood but she already made rapid strides in the industry with seven films (three in the making). “I am happy with the way my career is progressing, also, I’m fortunate to get good roles and I am enjoying my stint as an actress,” says the twenty- something Heebah.

Her upcoming project ‘Nenu Na Boyfriends’ is gearing up for release, and the exuberant actress shares details about her role. “I play Padmavathi, a simple village girl who comes to the city and follows her best friend (Tejaswi). How a small mistake affects everyone’s life is something to watch out for,” she reveals, adding, “I look like a stupid in the film because I don’t realize what I am doing. My father brings about all the necessary changes in me and that’s where the father-daughter bonding comes into picture.”

She continues, “My relationship with my father (Rao Ramesh) in the film and the way the role was etched made me sign the project. Chota K Naidu and Dil Raju are one of the main reasons I green lit the project. Also, director Bhaskar Bandi was very relaxed throughout the shoot and was not stressed out.”

Is she scared about her father in real life? “Yeah, I am scared of my dad. I do discuss my scripts with my aunt and sister and not my mom.”

In the film, the girl aspires for her parents and friends to support her. “I was able to connect to the concept because in real life too, I want my parents and friends to support me throughout,” she explains.

Does she have any boyfriends? “No! I studied in all-girls college but I used to have a lot of crushes.”
