Pawan Kalyan, V V Vinayak to join hands

Reigning star Pawan Kalyan who worked with leading directors like Trivikram Srinivas, S J Suryah and Puri Jagannath will be reportedly teaming up with commercial filmmaker V V Vinayak for a big budget action adventure.

Interestingly, Vinayak has just directed Pawan’s brother and megastar Chiranjeevi in his comeback film `Khaidi No 50’. Actually, top-notch director was supposed to direct Pawan some time ago but things didn’t fall in place.

However, Power star is holding discussions with `Tagore’ director for last few months and even met him personally quite a few times recently. “Pawan is interested to do a film with director Vinayak but they want to ensure an appropriate script that would justify their combination,” says a source.

Excited with the crazy project, director is scouting for good scripts and looking for a script that would justify the `larger-than-life’ image of actor-turned-politician. Meanwhile, Pawan is busy shooting for his next film with Trivikram Srinivas, touted to be a wholesome entertainer and has to do a film with producer A M Rathnam.

“No doubt, Pawan and Vinayak combination will be one of the craziest projects since they are coming together for the first time. Vinayak has given blockbusters to superstars like Chiranjeevi, NTR and Balakrishna and bound to dish out another money-spinner with Pawan,’ adds the source.
