During its promotions, he explained about his first love saying that it had hit him when he was in his ninth class. He further added, ‘Right when I was studying 9th in Bharatiya Vidyabhavan, I liked a girl. As I was shy from the beginning, I was a bit hesitant to talk with her. But she herself talked with me and even gave me her phone number. Though we were in touch for few days, we parted ways after that. This is love in one way but not true love’.
Speaking about using Pawan Kalyan film’s title, he said that ‘Tholi Prema’ is a very special film for him and we kept this title as it suited our story. He told that there is no comparison with that his Babai’s film and his film is a present generation love story. He went on saying that Raashi Khanna acted very well in ‘Oohalu Gusagusalaade’ which was a complete love story and that is the why they cast her in ‘Tholi Prema’.
