According to Falaknuma Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP) Syed Faiyaz, ‘The youth said the song’s lyrics allegedly hurt the sentiments of Muslims. A preliminary enquiry is going and no FIR has been filed yet.’

The first song of 'Oru Adaar Love' became viral on social media within few hours of its release because of Malayalam actor Priya Prakash Varrier’s cute articulations and wink. The video has nearly 15 million views and counting.

The lyrics of Manikya Malaraya Poovi have been written by PMA Jabbar and sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan. The song, originally composed by Thalassery K Refeeque, has been given final touches by popular Malayalam musician Shaan Rahman.

'Oru Adaar Love' is directed by Omar Lulu and stars a bunch of newcomers including Varrier.

The film celebrates the romance between school students.

A teaser of 'Oru Adaar Love' featuring Varrier and her on-screen love Roshan Abdul Rahoof was released yesterday and has gone viral. The video has garnered 3 million views within 16 hours of being released.

The debutante Malayalam actress has turned quite a few heads with her killer smile and naughty wink in the 'Oru Adaar Love' song 'Manikya Malaraya Poovi'. She became an overnight sensation and has broken several records on social media.

She has gained thousands of followers on social media - Instagram, Twitter and Facebook - after the song was released.

She is pursuing a B.Com degree from Vimala College in Thrissur, Kerala.
