The biopic project, titled NTR, is going to have Nandamuri Balakrishna playing his father in the title role. Meanwhile, Kajal has been approached to play late actress and former Tamil Nadu chief minister Jaya Lalitha's character in the movie. Earlier, it is rumoured that Deepika Padukone is approached to play Sri Devi, but there is no clarity on the same.
SR NTR and Jaya Lalitha acted together in 12 movies, and it is rumoured that Jaya Lalitha's character has a lot of prominence in the present film.
