The film was supposed to hit the screens by now but due to a delay in the CG work, the makers postponed the film. Apparently, the initial work of CG did not impress the director Rahul Sankirtyan and he asked the producers to hand over it to a VFX company based in Chennai.
This hiked the budget and the producers were initially reluctant to go by the director's choice. After watching the latest output, the producers decided to hand it over to another company. The film has 600 computer graphics shots and the makers are in no mood to compromise on the quality,
Starring Priyanka Jawalkar and Malavika Nair in the female leads, Taxiwala is said to be a scientific thriller.
