An edge of the seat thriller film Udgharsha

The big budget film ‘Udgharsha,’ the Telugu-Tamil-Kannada-trilingual, bankrolled by R Devaraj along with associate producers D Manjunath and Rajendra Kumar under the banner of D Creations with a big star cast is being belmed by Sunil Kumar Desai. Thakur Anoop Singh and Dhansika will be playing the lead roles. The Telugu film’s poster has been released a few days ago in Hyderabad.

Speaking to the media, Thakur Anoop Singh said that it was his fourth film and he was glad that he was playing the lead role. He said that earlier, he did films like ‘Yamudu 3,’ ‘Winner’ and another film by director Puri Jagannadh. He said that it was his good fortune to be part of a film helmed by a highly talented national award-winning director Sunil Kumar Desai. He learnt a lot about acting from star heroes like Allu Arjun and Surya, Singh added. He said that ‘Udgharsha’ was an edge of the the seat thriller.

Dhansika, who is playing the female lead in the film said that it was her second film and she was happy to do a Telugu film again. It is the story of how the hero saves her from the clutches of the villain, she added. She hoped that the audience would definitely enjoy the film as the producer took a lot of pains in making it. Besides, it was a big challenge for her to play the same role in three languages, she added.

Associate producer Manjunath said that he knew Sunil Kumar as an excellent director for nearly 25 years. He did a splendid job in bringing out this film beautifully, he added. He expressed confidence that the film would become a blockbuster. The film would be released soon, he added. Shradda Das, ‘Baahubali’ Prabhakar, Kabir Duhan Singh and Tanya Hope will be seen in other important roles.
