Adilabad: Boge Ravi, the lovelorn who had tortured a class IX student in the name of love and later killed her viciously was arrested by the police on Thursday. Boge Ravi, the prime accused and his supporter Vaisaka Naresh who have been allegedly involved in the murder of Kondepalli Anusha (14) of Kankur in the jurisdiction of Mudigunta Panchayat of Jaipur mandal in Adilabda district have been arrested by the police. The details of the case have been disclosed to the media by Srirampur SI Venkateswara babu late on Thursday.
Anusha was a class IX student at government school in Mudigunta’s Government school. She was staying along with her mother Tara and brother Rajesh in the same village. Boge Ravi also hails from the same village. Since last three years from the time he discontinued his intermediate, Ravi has been just killing the time. Ravi and Anusha met for the first time during last summer and since then Ravi started following Anusha everyday, while she was on her way to the school. Ravi used to torture her continuously to love him. Following a heavy mental pressure, Anusha informed the matter to her family members.
Her maternal uncle and other family members warned Ravi adequately. Even then there was no change in the activities of Ravi. After 15 days, Ravi went to Anusha’s home and argued with her family members saying that he would marry her. Anusha’s mother and brother have clarified that they will not make the marriage of Anusha, who was still a minor. Ravi put up resentment with them and waited for the appropriate time to take vengeance.
On February 25, when Anusha’s mother was home away and when Anusha was studying outside her home along with her friend, Ravi scripted a play and asked his friend Narender to take Rajasekhar (brother of Anusha) away from the home in the pretext of having a cold drink. Later, Ravi went to Anusha’s home and stabbed her with a knife. Ravi thought that Anusha lost her life and ran away from there. Her friend informed the same to neighbours. Anusha was rushed to Mancheriyal hospital and later planned for shifting to Karimnagar hospital. On the way to Karimnagar, Anusha lost her life.
On Thursday, the police have arrested the duo. The police opined that if they were informed of the torture episode well in time, such an untoward incident might have not happened.
