Raipur: Two minor girls of a residential school in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district were allegedly subjected to sexual abuse by husband of its superintendent over past few months, police said. Police have booked the superintendent of Kanya Ashram, located in Dhanora village, and her husband in this connection.

"A case was registered yesterday against Neeta Naag, the superintendent of the Kanya Ashram (residential school for tribal girls) in Dhanora village of the naxal-affected district, and her husband Vinod Naag in connection with alleged molestation of two minor inmates," Narayanpur SP Amit Tukaram Kamble told PTI.
The duo were booked on the complaint of district administration, he said. Soon after the incident came to light, the accused Vinod fled from the spot while his wife moved to Jagdalpur citing some personal work, he said. Neeta is told to immediately report to police station even as efforts are on to trace her husband who is currently on run, the SP said.
