Hyderabad: Cyber Crime Police, Cyberabad on Friday arrested three persons for allegedly cheating unemployed youth to the tune of lakhs of rupees on the pretext of providing jobs. The racketeers Kalyan alias Venugopal, 27, of Dilsukhnagar, Arshad Naveed, 38, of Rajendranagar and Praveen Pandurang Sonkamble of Mumbai organised a fraudulent recruitment drive using the name of a website 'emkei.cz' to lure unemployed youth by promising them jobs in Capgemini.

Later, fake offer letters were issued and amounts ranging from Rs 1 to Rs 1.5 lakh were collected from the victims who attended fake interviews of Capgemini, said an investigating officer. Based on the complaint by one of the victims, A Sushmaja of Gachibowli, police registered a case and launched a hunt to nab Kalyan and his accomplices. While Praveen was apprehended on July 3 from Mumbai, his other accomplices were nabbed from the city on his instance.
