Hyderabad: Officials of the Special Operation Team (SOT) have seized over 15,000 litres of kerosene stored in a warehouse at Mytri Nagar in Kukatpally area on Saturday. Officials, who received information about the kerosene being stored in barrels at a private warehouse, raided the premises in the afternoon and seized the kerosene. Police said that accused smuggled the liquid from the Public Distribution System (PDS) and was storing it at the said place for distributing it at higher prices. “Acting on a tip-off, we seized over 15,000 litres of kerosene meant for PDS,” said the police adding that the owner of the warehouse was still at large.
