Hyderabad: A 31-year-old housewife was found murdered under Keesara police station limits on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as P Lakshmi, a resident of Tataram village of Ranga Reddy district.
“Her husband, Dhanbalu, informed us that his wife went to meet her brother in Pothipalli on Monday. She neither reached her brother's place nor returned home. Later her body was found lying in a pool of blood at an isolated place between Pothipally and Rampally,” said the cops, adding that she is suspected to have been strangulated and after that the assailants bludgeoned her to death using a boulder. A case has been registered under Section 302 (Murder) of the IPC. Further investigation is underway.
