24-year-old murdered
In a daylight murder, a 24-year-old man was brutally murdered with sharp weapons within few meters away from Golconda police station during the afternoon hours.

Hyderabad: In a daylight murder, a 24-year-old man was brutally murdered with sharp weapons within few meters away from Golconda police station during the afternoon hours.
The victim, Abdul Razzaq, a resident of Neknampur of Rajendranagar, was attacked allegedly with sharp weapon by three persons while he was coming out of Masjid-e-Kalan mosque after Zohr prayers in Golconda. According to police, the victim received deep injuries on his body. Police are yet to ascertain the type of weapon the attackers used. “We can only confirm the weapon used after his post-mortem which will be conducted on Friday,” said D Srinivas, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Asifnagar.
It is believed that all the four, the victim and attackers were working in a workshop in Golconda. A few months ago, there was a scuffle between one of the attackers and Abdul Razzaq.
However, the issue appeared to have settled down with a compromise formula. But the attackers developed a grudge against the victim and attacked him near the mosque on Thursday. Abdul Razzaq was married 14-months ago and has a son.
One of the accused Riyaz, 25, resident of Golconda is believed to have apprehended by the Task Force. However, the police who began investigation into the murder did not confirm this. “We are trying to nab those who are involved,” said the ACP.
