Man, son killed in road accident
A 33-year-old man and his eight-year-old son were killed while his wife and another son were injured when the motorcycle on which they were travelling hit by a truck under Narsingi police station limits on Saturday night.

Police sources said Mutyalu was on his way with his family on a motorcycle to Kokapet. His wife Pushpamma, 30, and sons Akash, 10, and Siddharth, 8, were riding pillion. As they reached Jonnavada crossing, a truck (AP 28 U 1045) rammed into their two-wheeler from behind. In the impact, the four were thrown off the motorcycle which came under the truck. Mutyalu and Siddharth came under the wheels. While Siddharth died on the spot, Mutyalu, died on the way to hospital.
Pushpamma and Akash who sustained injuries are reported to be undergoing treatment at a government hospital. The driver of the truck is absconding. A case has been registered under Section 304 A and 337 of the IPC.
