Car thief to be remanded today, The Jubilee Hills police will send to remand on Monday the high-end car thief who had sold four cars after stealing them from parking spaces of hotels and pubs.
Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police will send to remand on Monday the high-end car thief who had sold four cars after stealing them from parking spaces of hotels and pubs. Based on CCTV footages, the police on Friday arrested Suman, 25, an Engineering graduate and resident of Srinagar Colony who recently stole a BMW car belonging to an advocate from Daspalla Hotel in Road No.37, Hitec City. He resorted to thefts in order to impress girls and lead a lavish life. After the car theft, he used to change the number plate. Earlier he stole a car in Bottles and Chimneys at Begumpet, according to the police.
Apart from BMW, he stole another two cars which were recovered by the police. He sold all the three cars, which were recovered by the police. “We recovered the cars and will be sending him to remand on Monday,” said a Sub-Inspector dealing the case.The police officials who interrogated Suman are trying to confirm if he was involved in any other car theft. His modus operandi was to steal the car key from valet parking drawer and driving away in the stolen car from
the spot.
