Six arrested; leopard skin seized

Kagaznagar (Adilabad): Forest officials here caught six persons while they were transporting skin of a leopard to Maharashtra to sell it there. The accused were produced before the media on Sunday. According to the Forest officials, Jang and Bhim Rao of Birsaipet village in Utnoor mandal along with Ramesh, Rajeshwar, Bapu Rao and Beeraj of Indravelli village had planned to sell the leopard skin to a trader at Chandrapur in Maharashtra. They were proceeding to Maharashtra via Asifabad when they were caught by the Forest officials at Jendaguda in Asifabad mandal.

The Forest officials arrested six persons and seized the skin of leopard. Kagaznagar Forest Range officer Chandrakumar said that the accused were produced in the court.
