Minor kidnapped, gang raped for 3 weeks

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police on Tuesday arrested four persons for allegedly kidnapping and gang raping a minor girl repeatedly for a period of over three weeks in Jubilee Hills area. Though the crime was committed in December last year, the incident came to light on Monday.
The suspects identified as Madagala Sudheer, 30, of Borabanda, Bhavani Srinivasulu, 23, of Rajendranagar, Madas Siddi Ramulu alias Siddhu, 29 and Madas Shankar, 31, both of Banjara Hills were arrested under Sections 5 and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Criminal Law Amendment Act 2013, Section 365 and 376 (2) of the IPC and remanded to judicial custody.
The girl did not report the incident to the police or to her parents as the accused persons allegedly filmed her and threatened to make it public if she reported the incident. Later, the girl mustered the courage and revealed to her parents the shocking details. Based on their complaint, police took up the investigation.
During their investigation, it was revealed that first assault on the victim took place on December 22 when she was alone at her house at Borabanda. “Ramulu, who is well- acquainted with the family members, took the advantage and outraged her modesty while she was sleeping. Likewise, the other accused persons who happen to be friends of Ramulu kidnapped and took her to Borabanda to a rented house where they repeatedly raped and threatened with making the video public if she revealed the incident to anyone,” DCP (W) A Venkateswara Rao said.
