Hyderabad: Unable to cope with depression caused by parents’ scolding over neglect of studies, a 14-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging at Babbuguda of Motinagar under the jurisdiction of Sanathnagar police station on Sunday.
According to the police, the boy, A Harish, son of Rajeshwar, was studying in Class IX in Motinagar Government School. He was depressed when parents reprimanded him for his lack of interest in studies. They also cautioned him of shifting to a different school, if he does not change his attitude.
