Two killed, four hurt as bikes collide
Two persons died on the spot and another four, including a five-year-old girl, sustained injuries after two motorcycles on which they were travelling rammed into each other at Mothey forest area near Padmapuram village under Pinapaka mandal in Khammam district on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Irapa Saraiah, 27, of Rangapuram village under Tadwai mandal in Warangal district and D Lal Babu, 30, of Markodu village under Gundala mandal in the district. It is learnt that the mishap occurred when both the riders were negotiating a turn at a forest location. The injured, Tolem Lachaiah,Bhadraiah, Shalini and Gidde Narsimha Rao of Narsampet colony have been admitted to government hospital in Bhadrachalam. Karakagudem sub-inspector Ramesh registered a case and started the investigation.
