K Giri had suffered severe injuries on his head and neck at 4 pm when he was attacked by the assailants.
Hyderabad: A 17-year-old youth, who was admitted to Anupama Hospital in KPHB after being injured in an attack with an axe by unknown miscreants in Moosapet locality on Monday, succumbed to injuries late on Monday night. K Giri had suffered severe injuries on his head and neck at 4 pm when he was attacked by the assailants. He was rushed to Anupama Hospital immediately by his friends who saw him lying in a pool of blood.
Kukatpally police have registered a case under Section 302 of the IPC. The body of the deceased was handed over to his parents after postmortem on Tuesday. “We are probing the murder from every angle,” the cops said, adding that the victim was a native of Odisha and used to work as a factory worker.
