2 killed, 30 hurt as bus falls from bridge
Two persons, including a woman, were killed and 25 others injured, five of them critically, after an RTC bus (Ramabhanam) carrying 46 passengers over turned and fell from the bridge on Thursday. The mishap occurred at around 11am when the bus was travelling to Bhadrachalam from Khammam when it suddenly overturned before a bridge near Godavari river at Bhadrachalam, police said.

"In the incident, one woman passenger died on the spot while the bus-driver succumbed to his injuries later. Thirty others who sustained injuries were hospitalised and the condition of five of them is serious," ASP, Bhadrachalam Sub-Division, M Bhaskaran said.
