On credible information, the South Zone Police apprehended three alleged notorious criminals while trying to sell six swords and knives at Chacha Garage under Bhavani Nagar police station limits on Friday.
Hyderabad: On credible information, the South Zone Police apprehended three alleged notorious criminals while trying to sell six swords and knives at Chacha Garage under Bhavani Nagar police station limits on Friday.
According to police, Mohd Faheem, 21, fruit vendor and resident of Talabkatta, Mohd Javeed, 23, auto-rickshaw driver and resident of Talabkatta and Mohd.Ismayel, 20, auto-rickshaw driver and resident of Bhavani Nagar, who were earlier involved in various cases, made an attempt to sell weapons. They had brought the weapons from Ajmer in Rajasthan two months ago.
“If not arrested them, they would have caused disturbance to the peace and tranquillity”, said V Satyanarayana, DCP South Zone.
