Metro Rail labourer electrocuted

A construction worker at Hyderabad Metro Rail construction site in Ameerpet was electrocuted on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Chennamanaidu (38) of Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh and was working as a daily wage labourer at the construction site.

Hyderabad: A construction worker at Hyderabad Metro Rail construction site in Ameerpet was electrocuted on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Chennamanaidu (38) of Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh and was working as a daily wage labourer at the construction site.
On Thursday, when he was performing his daily duties near the site at Chennai Shopping Mall in Ameerpet, he accidentally got electrocuted and died on the spot.The body was shifted to Gandhi hospital for post-mortem. The SR Nagar police booked a case and took up investigation. They have informed the Larsen and Turbo (L&T) management and asked to take necessary precautions for the safety of the labourers.
