Three Nigerians have been arrested by the Central Crime Station (CCS) officials for duping several persons to the tune of Rs 10 lakhs, in the name of former joint director of the Central Bureau of Investigation VV Lakshminarayana.
The CCS officials said the Nigerian nationals have cheated several persons by collecting money from them saying VV Lakshminarayana is constructing a five star hotel.
Suspecting their behavior, some victims approached the CCS police who launched a manhunt to nab them.
The police today arrested three Nigerians and three other persons from Maharastra.
