4 lakh gold recovered from repeat offender
An auto driver, who was allegedly involved in several chain-snatching and automobile thefts, was arrested by the Banjara Hills police on Monday. Property worth Rs 4 lakh was recovered from his possession.

Hyderabad: An auto driver, who was allegedly involved in several chain-snatching and automobile thefts, was arrested by the Banjara Hills police on Monday. Property worth Rs 4 lakh was recovered from his possession.
The accused, identified as Miyyanolla Satish (22), is a resident of Banjara Hills. He hailed from Siddapur in Mahabubnagar district. He was caught by the sleuths of Banjara Hills near RBI Quarters during vehicle inspection on Monday morning.
West Zone DCP A Venkateshwara Rao said during questioning, the accused confessed to having committed five offenses in Hyderabad and two in Cyberabad along with his friend Rahul in the past two years.
The accused was earlier arrested in 10 cases of property thefts in Cyberabad and all the cases are on trial. The team recovered gold ornaments weighing 120 grams, two bikes and a mobile phone from his possession.
