Youth dies in road mishap
A 22-year old student who was pillion riding on his friends bike on Road No 12 of Banjara Hills died on the spot. Their vehicle hit the divider near Kaman on Friday midnight.
Hyderabad: A 22-year old student who was pillion riding on his friends bike on Road No 12 of Banjara Hills died on the spot. Their vehicle hit the divider near Kaman on Friday midnight.
According to the police, I Avinash Yadav, resident of Jammalamadugu, Kadapa district, came to visit his friend Srujan Reddy. Both of them who were allegedly in an inebriated condition during the night hours reportedly hit the divider.
Avinash Yadav who fell from the bike, received grievous injuries, and while being shifted to a private hospital died. The police officials rubbished the reports that they were trying to flee from drunk drive, being conducted by traffic police on Friday night. “It is all false report, as the accident spot was far away from the place where police were conducting the drive,” said P Murali Krishna, Inspector.
Inspector could not confirm if the youngsters were in an inebriated condition as they did not face the test being conducted by the traffic police.
