Even as the police claim that scores of armed teams and other police personnel are on toes to prevent the ever growing incidents of chain-snatching, a 33-year-old woman, C Jyothi (33), suffered grievous injuries after being pulled down from a moving bike by chain-snatchers at Kanchanbagh on Tuesday. Tantalising the police, snatchers fled with a three-tola gold chain worn by the victim.
