Housewife injured in cylinder blast
A 33-year-old housewife suffered critical burn injuries when a domestic gas cylinder exploded while she was cooking on Wednesday. The victim, Surji Devi (33), wife of Sardar Kumar, resides in Green Park Colony in Saidabad.
Hyderabad: A 33-year-old housewife suffered critical burn injuries when a domestic gas cylinder exploded while she was cooking on Wednesday. The victim, Surji Devi (33), wife of Sardar Kumar, resides in Green Park Colony in Saidabad.
At around 8.45 am, while Devi was preparing food, gas leaked from the cylinder and exploded. Sardar, who runs a grocery store at a stone throw away, rushed to the home on hearing the blast sound. He extinguished the flames and shifted his wife to a nearby hospital.
