Girl commits suicide after parents refuse her choice of groom

A teenager committed suicide on Friday by setting herself ablaze after her parents refused her choice groom. The deceased identified as Kavitha from Zapthishivnur village in Sankarampeta mandal of Medak district had informed her parents about the boy she was in love with.

The girl had stated that she was in love with a boy of the same village but her parents refused to accept the girl's choice and arranged her marriage with another boy. The girl unable to go ahead with the marriage set herself ablaze and committed suicide when her parents left for farm work on Friday.
