Music director Sashi attacked
Music director Sashi Preetam was allegedly attacked by his friend on Friday in Madhapur over a suspected financial dispute. According to Madhapur police, Preetam (45) lodged a complaint stating that one MK Bhanu Prasad (50), his old associate had attacked and injured him near his house in Kavuri Hills.

According to Madhapur police, Preetam (45) lodged a complaint stating that one MK Bhanu Prasad (50), his old associate had attacked and injured him near his house in Kavuri Hills.
Music director Sashi Preetam shot in to fame following his music score in Telugu film 'Gulabi' in 1996. In 2012, the duo made an agreement for making a documentary and Bhanu Prasad invested Rs 1.5 lakh for the project. As Bhanu was ill, he withdrew his rights from the project and gave rights to Preetam,
but Preetam did not pay money for the rights.The duo, both neighbours in Kavuri Hills, had heated arguments earlier on the issue and on Friday they saw each other on a road and entered in to a heated argument, during which Bhanu reportedly attacked Preetham and injured him. Madhapur Inspector P Naresh told the media that Preetam suffered injuries on his face in the attack. A case has been booked against Bhanu Prasad under section 341, section 323 and section 506 of IPC.
