2 chain snatchings at IT corridor
Two bike-borne chain-snatchers robbed two women techies in a span of 15 minutes at Gachibowli IT corridor and made a vain attempt third time. According to sources, the incident took place on Tuesday evening at Financial District. Ashwini, an Infosys employee left the office and was returning to Wipro junction to catch a bus and reach her hostel in Madhapur.

Chain-snatchers, who were waiting at the junction on a black bike (Pulsar), snatched the gold chain from Ashiwni. When she raised an alarm, fellow pedestrians called the police. Before police could reach the spot, the chain-snatchers went towards ICICI building and snatched a gold chain worn by a techie Kalpanlatha who was walking in front of Karvy solutions.
The chain-snatchers then moved towards IIT and attempted to snatch a gold chain of a woman walking in front of Hill Ridge Villas. The woman was alerted with the speedy approach and masked pillion rider, raised alarm.
