3 of a family die in road mishap

Visakhapatnam: Three members of a family, including a six- year-old girl died on the spot, when a school bus mowed down their motorcycle near Endada Junction on the Natonal Highway, here on Saturday.

The bus driver in order to avoid hitting a motorcycle swerved to his right and hit another motorcycle driven by Kishore Kumar. The bus came to a halt after ramming into a jeep.
Three persons on the bike died and two persons in the jeep suffered minor injuries.Inspector of Arilova Ch Tirupathi Rao said that Kishore Kumar was a resident of Marikavalasa area in the city and was working as a lab technician at Care Hospital. He was returning home after consulting a doctor for his daughter and mother.
The CI said that the driver of the bus lost control over the vehicle due to over speeding. After avoiding hitting a biker, he overshot to the other side of the NH-16 and mowed down the motorcycle carrying three members of a family causing instant death.Police registered a case and arrested the bus driver. Bodies were shifted to King George Hospital for post-mortem.
