Woman doctor commits suicide

A 35-year-old doctor, Swapna allegedly committed suicide by hanging self in her house on Friday. She was working in a private children’s hospital located at Bellampalli crossroads, being run by her husband, Dr Venumadhav. The couple has two children.

The family members were unable to tell the motive behind her desperate action.Local CI Sudhakar said the reasons for the suicide would be known on Saturday when Swapna’s parents reach the town from Bengaluru. Her body was shifted to the government hospital here for postmortem.
