Truck driver held for outraging homemaker

​Mancherial: The city police on Thursday arrested Uppala Raju (24) of RK8 Colony in Naspur mandal for allegedly raping a house wife.
Speaking to the media at Srirampur Police station, Jaipur Assistant Commissioner of Police Kavitha said, the lorry driver, Uppala Raju, who was in a tipsy condition, committed the offence on Wednesday night.
‘Taking the advantage of her loneliness he committed the crime. The victim lodged a complaint with the police on Thursday,’ she added. She advised people to keep aloof of anti-social activities.
Sri Rampur Circle Inspector Venu Chander, Sub-Inspector Ravi Prasad were present.
