Cyber stalker held
Cyberabad police on Saturday arrested a cyber stalker for sending abusive messages with morphed photos and outraging the modesty of the complainant. The arrested person has been identified as Kondaboyina Shyam.
​Hyderabad: Cyberabad police on Saturday arrested a cyber stalker for sending abusive messages with morphed photos and outraging the modesty of the complainant. The arrested person has been identified as Kondaboyina Shyam.
The accused developed friendship with the victim when he met her in a marriage a few months ago. As their friendship grew, he took the girl’s photos and later expressed his love for her. He was enraged as the girl refused his proposal and bore grudge against the girl, police said.
He then morphed the photos of the girl, sent them not only to the victim but also to her friends through fake accounts on social networking site Facebook and also on WhatsApp, police said.
As the embarrassed and humiliated victim lodged a complaint, cyber crime sleuths registered a case and nabbed the accused. Incriminating evidence was recovered from his mobile phone and he was sent to prison, police said.
