Hyderabad: Central zone task force team of city police on Saturday arrested three persons for running cricket betting racket.
The arrested include Mukesh Sharma, Ritesh Singh and Mahesh Biradar. Police seized Rs 10 lakh in cash, laptop, some electronic gadgets and mobile phones from a place in Saidabad where the accused had been running their shop.
The gang was accepting money from the punters for the cricket match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Mukesh was arrested thrice earlier for the same offense, police said.
