44 research papers for presentation at ICBF

Inaugurating the conference, Professor I M Pandey, Professor of Research, IIM-Lucknow urged the management institutes in India to look at qualitative research, especially case methods of research.

Addressing the delegates Professor John Polonchek, Department Head, Spears School of Business, Oklahoma State University said, “We intend to let this conference provide an opportunity to expand our relationship with IBS and develop new partnerships for their students at the graduate and undergraduate level.”

The keynote address for the conference was delivered by Prof. David Mitchell Reeb from National University of Singapore. He presented his research findings in the area of “Frontiers of Financial Research on Publicly – Traded Family Firms”.

Prof. J Mahender Reddy, Vice-Chancellor IFHE who presided over the event said, “This conference will lay foundation for IBS to look at MoUs with foreign universities for student exchange programs as well as for joint research projects.”

ICFAI’s Indian Business School (IBS) is hosting this two-day conference jointly with Spears School of Business, Oklahoma State University, USA. The ICBF witness a total of 44 research papers being presented, out of which 15 are from Australia, Canada, South Africa, Russia, Sri Lanka etc.
