Huge response to IIIT 6-year integrated course

The six-year integrated course in IIIT, Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RUGKT), is garnering good response from the aspirants. The total number of applications received till June 13 is 33,275. The total number of applications received last year was 32,000. This year the number may be over 35,000. The number of the mandatory printouts (hard copies) of online applications received up to June 13 is 12,735. It is being observed that applicants are delaying to post the printouts of online applications.

The details of the valid and invalid applications among the processed applications (printed hard copies) have been placed on http://admissions2014.rgukt.in/. Students whose applications have been rejected should submit the details to the university to validate their applications to avoid disqualification.

Submission of printout of online applications along with attachments (hard copies) by post or in person is mandatory for the application to be considered. Prof. RV Raja Kumar, Vice-Chancellor said, “The delayed submission of printout of online applications is of concern and applicants may stand the risk of losing an opportunity due to late arrival. We are also sending SMS to the applicants regarding valid /invalid applications (along with information about missing documents so that they can submit the missing documents and make this application valid within the last date). Hence, we are advising the applicants to post the hard copies in time and constantly visit the admissions website of the university.”

The last date for receiving the printout of the online applications is 5pm ons June 21.

The candidates should submit the missing attachments within the last date.
