On popular demand, British Council launched a series of free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for teachers and learners via the FutureLearn platform. This course introduces some of the latest ideas in research and practice in learning the language along with teaching. Registrations are now open on futurelearn.com

This course introduces some of the latest ideas in research and practice in learning the language along with teaching. Registrations are now open on futurelearn.com for Understanding IELTS: Techniques for English Language Tests and Exploring English: Language and Culture.
Social interaction is the concept of this free online course, where people engage in discussions, debates and participate in online quizzes, all of which encourage active learning. The curriculum will take the learners through each stage of the IELTS test which includes reading, writing, speaking and listening.
The course on Understanding IELTS: Techniques for English Language Tests is beneficial for aspirants who want to pursue their higher education. It focuses on exploring English language and tactics of learning and teaching other languages and those interested in Exploring English: Language and Culture will get to know more about the language and ways to improve their language skills.
