Unlike many top B School campuses, where slowdown affect has been felt in the placements due to demonetization,the placement scenario at Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad,looks to be good.Strong corporate connect is seen as the major differentiator. IMT Hyderabad engages with members of the corporate world through several initiatives.
Practitioners and business leaders play an integral part in course development and delivery and 15% sessions in regular courses are taken by business leaders from industry to familiarize the students with the real time business scenario. It also brings together corporate executives to compete in various sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball etc. in the 30 acre campus situated near the International Airport in Hyderabad.

The average remuneration for top 50 offers has been 8.16 lakhs and top 100 students has been close to INR 7 lakhsso far, despite the slowdown in placements”, says, Dr. Satish Ailawadi, Director at IMT Hyderabad.
IMT Hyderabad, established in the year 2011 completed the placement for the 2014-16 batches with highest package offered being INR 21 Lacs per annum and the average salary of INR 6.97 lac per annum by 80 plus recruiters. Recruiters like Arcesium, a division of D.E.Shaw, which provides tech support and software solutions to asset managers, KPMG, Deloitte, Amazon, HDFC Bank, ICICI, SBI Life, Syska, Blue Star, CCD, KhmimjiRamdas, Nephro plus, Fact Set, Care Ratings, S&P Global, iNautix visiting the campus with multiple offers during the initial phase of the placement session.
