While jumping over live wires at a train station in Kanpur, one of the monkeys was electrocuted and lost consciousness thereafter. Another monkey in the vicinity scratched, bit and dunked his unconscious comrade into sewer water to revive him.
In this video posted on YouTube, we see heartwarming footage of the monkey refusing to give up on his mate and his desperate efforts to bring him back to consciousness. After a lot of effort, the other monkey finally began to show signs of revival. Towards the end of the footage, we see that the monkey's fully revived and sitting beside his friend, soaking in the sun.
