The India Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall warning for the next five days. Also, a weather warning has been issued for the AP coast fisherman for the next 24 hours. With a low pressure area over the west central Bay of Bengal persisting, the IMD stated that during the next 48 hours an upper air cyclonic circulation is expected to become a well-marked low pressure area.


According to the IMD update, the southwest monsoon is active over Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh. Heavy rain or thundershowers are to take place in the next five days in many places over Telangana and coastal AP. Rains lashed over in the past 24 hours in several places over Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh.
