"The sky would remain clear throughout the day," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 28 degrees Celsius.

According to the weather office, humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 80 percent.

Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 11 degrees Celsius.
