GHMC polls: TDP contests Cash for vote candidate
While the TDP-BJP alliance is jointly contesting in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, BJP continues to insist on greater share than 90-60 seats in the polls.

Also, TDP youth leader Pradeep Chowdhary being allocated for the prestigious Vengalrao Nagar seat is strongly condemned by the BJP for his involvement in the Cash for vote case for which he was interrogated many times by the police.
Therefore, the BJP is now demanding the seat to be allocated to their party. However, it is learnt that TDP National Secretary Nara Lokesh's intervention in the matter where he persuaded the party to accept Pradeep Chowdhary as the TDP candidate seemed to have settled the issue.
Reports suggest that Pradeep Chowdhary has a fair chance to win the seat owing to the number of settlers' present in the constituency.
