Vote YSRCP for devt, says Sharmila
Sharmila: Vote YSRCP for Development, Drawing a contrast between the five-year ‘prosperous’ term of YSR and the preceding nine-year ‘dark age’ of TDP, YSRCP leader Sharmila on Wednesday.
Kalluru (Kurnool): Drawing a contrast between the five-year ‘prosperous’ term of YSR and the preceding nine-year ‘dark age’ of TDP, YSRCP leader Sharmila on Wednesday appealed to people to vote for the party (fan) symbol to bring back the ‘good days of welfare and development’. Addressing a YSR ‘Jana Bheri’ public meeting here, she appealed to voters to strengthen the hands of her brother and party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy for bringing back the ‘golden’ period of YSR. While listing the welfare schemes taken up by YSR like MSP for farmers, free power, interest waiver on loans, ‘Pavala Vaddi’ for women, fee-reimbursement scheme, ‘Jalayagnam’, housing for the poor, Aarogyasri, she alleged that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu lacked ‘honesty’ and ‘sincerity in his words and deeds’. She accused Kiran Reddy of either diluting or shelving the welfare schemes of YSR and burdened the people with a whopping Rs 32,000 crore as power charges/surcharges. She praised Jagan, saying he opposed the Congress policies and took up dharnas in support of students, farmers, weavers and to keep the State united.
