Priyanka Vadra Gandhi: Stop LecturingRae Bareli: Priyanka Vadra Gandhi launched a shrill attack at Modi, asking him to "stop his vicious" campaign and instead focus on development issues. Making public her displeasure of Modi's campaign, she told a gathering that people of the country were not schoolchildren and hence Modi should not hurl "RSVP" and "ABC" jibes at the Congress and her family members.

"You must be hearing on the television, sometimes ABC sometimes RSVP and sometimes 'da se desh and ka se kawa. Kabhi ba sey bass bhi toh kariye' (You talk about the country, the crow, but sometimes you should stop also). "You (Modi) are not addressing an educational institution but instead the public of a country," she said.Modi in his election rallies had earlier said that the country runs on RSVP (Rahul, Sonia, Vadra and Priyanka) model and the Congress party had made ABC - A for Adarsh scam, B for Bofors scam and C for Coal scam as its party symbol. She hit back at Modi for the third time this week and accused the Gujarat chief of doling out large expanses of land to his friends at throwaway prices. "The people of the country understands your Gujarat model very well, where you sold land for a meagre amount to your friends." "If you want to strengthen the public then tell them where do farmers stand in your model? Tell us what you have done for women..." Urging the people to vote for Sonia Gandhi, she said that they should vote for the Congress party which believes in strengthening the unity of the country.

It seems the Gandhi family has taken on its own shoulder to defend the personal attacks on the family and simultaneously step up the attack on the BJP and its prime ministerial candidtate Narendra Modi. As BJP started taking jibes on the alleged Vadra scam by calling it ‘jijaji scam’ thus bringing the focus on Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, for his alleged involvement in land scams, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra entered the fray by playing emotinal pitch and also attacking the Gujarat model of development during campaigns for her mother and brother Rahul Gandhi.
