Ramayan by kids mesmerises audience

Guntur: A scene from Ramayan enacted by kids enthralled the audience during advance Srirama Navami celebrations at Vignan Residential High School here on Wednesday. The school children excelled in their presentation. The costumes sported by them to suit the occasion added colour to the event. Dr Uma Jyothi of Psychiatry Department in Guntur Medical College, participating as a guest at the celebrations, urged the parents to make know the children about the importance of the festival. Parents should mould the children by understanding their mentality and behave accordingly, Dr Uma Jyothi advised. She briefed the parents on how to behave with children of various ages. Vignan School zonal in-charge G Kurmanath said that the school was organising celebrations of all festivals to help the students know the importance of Indian culture. School principal K Dhanalakshmi, sports coordinator T Raghavaiah and others were present.
