The fourth international exhibition and conference on civil aviation – India Aviation 2014 – which kicked off on March 12 at the Begumpet Airport is set to conclude today with three aerobatics performances at 11am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
Mark Jefferies with Tom Cassells, both multiple time British champions, form the Global Stars aerobatic team. Formations and solo air displays were performed twice for the first time in the country at the event. The team offers two aircraft formation displays which visitors have been lapping it up. The highlight of their performance is the ‘Synchronised Smoke Act’ which Mark Jefferies claim they are doing for the first time in the world.
Adequate parking arrangements have been made on the final day at the Begumpet Airport Cargo Area and also at the Gymkhana Grounds. A shuttle bus service is being operated every 15 minutes to the airport. No private transportation is being allowed inside the premises. Visitors would be allowed to see static flights from 30 feet away from the barricade and would not be allowed to board any aircraft. The public would also be restricted from carrying food, water, eatables, big hand bags, purses, any liquids and banned items for security reasons.
