The president of International Magician Society, Tony Hassini, from USA, would be conducting the Merlin Medal competitions for the first time in India at the convention. More than 600 national and international magicians would be participating at the biggest traditional cultural event of the country. The highlight of the convention includes stage and close up competitions for the prestigious Merlin Medal, gala shows by renowned magicians on a single platform and an exclusive demonstration of four varieties of Indian Street Magic.

Magicians’ Academy was established in 2008 in Hyderabad by a well known magician Samala Venu who has 33 years of experience in the field of magic. The academy was set up to help struggling and ambitious magicians by providing them scholarships and other forms of incentives with the help of the government. The academy provides the member magicians with lots of inputs by organising lectures, seminars and conferences with the involvement of noted magicians across the globe. It also aims at bringing in professionalism amongst magicians and conducting soft skills and public relations training sessions.
